Cake Flavours

Amber believes that her cakes should wow your guests both in looks and taste!  All of Amber’s cakes are made fresh to order with generous layers of filling.  Cakes are coated in an indulgent layer of either white, milk, or dark chocolate ganache before being iced and decorated.  For multiple tiers you can have multiple flavours – yum!

Classic Vanilla – A delicately flavoured vanilla sponge filled with velvety vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam.  A simple classic!

Chocolate – A moist chocolate sponge filled with delicious chocolate buttercream.

Cherry Bakewell – Delightful almond sponge filled with fruity cherry jam and delectable almond buttercream. 

Coffee and Walnut – A mellow coffee sponge penetrated with chopped walnut pieces layered with subtly flavoured coffee buttercream.

Lime – A luscious lime sponge filled with a tangy lime buttercream.

Lemon – A scrumptious lemon sponge layered with zesty lemon curd and smooth lemon buttercream.

Caramel/salted caramel – A delicious caramel sponge filled with silky caramel, and creamy caramel buttercream.  This can be sprinkled with sea salt for those who prefer a salted caramel cake.

Liquorice and Blackcurrant – A delicate sponge infused with a gentle liquorice flavour filled with fruity blackcurrant compote and blackcurrant buttercream.

Coconut – A fluffy coconut sponge filled with creamy coconut buttercream.  Why not add pineapple jam, lemon and lime curd or passion fruit curd for added zing!

White chocolate and Raspberry – A light sponge peppered with Belgian white chocolate chunks filled with fruity raspberry jam and smooth white chocolate buttercream.

Chocolate and Salted Caramel – A moist chocolate cake filled with caramel sprinkled with sea salt and a sweet, salty caramel buttercream.

Fruit Punch – A zingy citrus sponge filled with juicy strawberry jam and buttercream flavoured with fruit punch.

Ginger and Lime – A fragrantly spiced ginger sponge filled with tangy lime buttercream.

Fruit Cake – A traditional, rich fruitcake soaked in alcohol and painted with apricot glaze before being encased in layers of marzipan and icing.
